This article describes the process of downloading, installing, and using the Funambol SyncML plugin.
NOTE: SyncML does not support syncing of contact images across devices.
- Download the Funambol Sync Client for your OS from Funambol's website at https://www.forge.funambol.org/download/#phone
- Once installed, locate and start the Funambol Plug-in on your phone.
- You will see a "Welcome to Funambol Plug-in" screen.
- Press the Menu key and select Settingsand configure them as follows:
- Enter the server location in the format http://webmail.yourowndomain/sync/default.aspx (replace yourowndomain with your own domain name that you are checking mail on)
- Enter the username in the format username@yourowndomainname
- Enter the password on the account.
- Select if you want to synchronize contacts, calendar appointments, tasks, and/or notes.
- Select if you want to enable a scheduled synchronization.
- Select the sync direction (Two-Way, One Way: Client to Server, or One Way: Server to Client).
- Select Menu and Save.
- To manually synchronize data, select Menu and choose Synchronize.
